Founded in 1992 by attorneys Peter Neufeld and Barry Scheck, the Innocence Project has been a leader in criminal justice reform, using DNA and other scientific tools to prove wrongful convictions. Their work not only frees the innocent but also drives systemic change to make the legal system more accurate, fair, and accountable.
