Through mentorship, exposure, and empowerment, the organization strengthens the pipeline between high school and collegiate sports — ensuring that excellence, tradition, and culture continue to thrive at HBCUs for generations to come.
The Hidden Opponent
The Hidden Opponent is breaking the silence around athlete mental health by turning isolation into community. Through education, storytelling, and a global network of athletes and advocates, they challenge stigma and create a culture where vulnerability is strength and no one has to struggle in the shadows.
“I want to highlight the importance of mental health for student athletes, especially those attending HBCUs like myself.”

Lane Johnson is helping veterans rediscover purpose through service

Lane Johnson was deeply moved by veterans and Gold Star families who shared how meaningful service after the military can rebuild purpose and connection.
